Teen in custody after deadly stabbing in Northbridge

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. (WPRI) -- Northbridge, Mass. police said they have 17-year-old in custody following a deadly stabbing that happened Friday night.
According to a release from Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early, Jr., Northbridge police received a 911 call just before 9:30 p.m. for multiple people stabbed at the Town Common.
Two stabbing victims were taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester to be treated for their injuries.
A 20-year-old man, who is not being identified at this time, was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Another victim, a 17-year-old boy, is in critical condition at this time.
The suspect, who is not being identified, is expected to be arraigned in Worcester Juvenile Court - Milford Session on Monday.
Northbridge Police and the State Police Detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office continue to investigate this incident.
