SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) -- An 18-year-old was killed after crashing into a guardrail in Slidell on Saturday, May 4. The Louisiana State Police reported the crash happened just after 3 a.m. on U.S. Highway 190 near Cross Creek Drive. Man hit, killed by car while sleeping on sidewalk in French Quarter According to the LSP, Helgin Tian, of Slidell, was driving north on the highway in a 2004 Chevrolet Express when the vehicle crashed into the guardrail and flipped. Tian wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
