AUSTIN (KXAN) — One man is dead after a homicide in north Austin early Saturday morning. The Austin Police Department said it happened near Colony Creek Drive and Northgate Boulevard. Officers were in the area when they heard a disturbance at about 3:27 a.m. MAP: Where have Austin’s homicides occurred in 2024? APD officers checked the area and found a man in his 30s with trauma to his body. The man died at the scene, according to police. Police said there is no suspect in custody, and detectives are actively investigating. Police believe it was an isolated incident with no known threat to the public.
