WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police said a girl, who was about 3 years old, was shot in Southeast Friday night. Student inside Dunbar High School in DC hit by bullet fired from outside The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said officers responded to 24th and Irving streets. A spokesperson with MPD said after the girl was shot, the family brought her to a nearby firehouse shortly after 9 p.m. Park Police then medevaced the girl. The spokesperson said the girl was in "grave condition."
