APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - A body was reportedly recovered from the Fox River in Appleton near Peabody Park. Officials are at a scene at Peabody Park in Appleton. The Appleton Fire Department and the Outagamie County Sheriff's Office were on the scene. Authorities did appear to bring a boat out onto the water. A Local 5 photographer was at the scene. With temperatures starting to rise, Wisconsin DNR reminds residents to be ‘bear aware’ Crews were at the scene for hours. There has been no official release sent out by authorities.
