"It's about our clown, Rafael, he gets swept up by a tornado and ends up in a big, bustling city. And he meets people from all walks of life including jugglers, angelic aerial artists and we have a skating act as well." We got a sneak peek of two of the acts including some trampoline acrobats and an aerial acrobat. Something unique about this modern circus is its water elements. "We are the first traveling water circus in the United States, you have to come on down and see our amazing, dynamic water stage," Rosenthal said. "You'll only find this water stage in like stationary areas like in Las Vegas or Dubai but we are here in your city." New lions ‘bring the roar’ back to Great Plains Zoo And the performers in the show come from all around the world. "Including Brazil, Ukraine, Venezuela, Italy, Columbia, all around the world," Rosenthal said. The family-friendly show runs through Sunday in Sioux Falls before it packs up and moves to its next city. "We love bringing laughter and making people happy here in Cirque Italia. That's why we love doing our job," Rosenthal said. Friday night's show is at 7:30 and then there are some afternoon shows on Saturday and Sunday as well.
