(COLORADO SPRINGS) — This Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12, The Fine Arts Center (FAC) will be bringing back its popular Mother's Day Brunch. Because of Covid-19 the brunch was put on hold for several years—but it's coming back this weekend. “Just as we champion the artistic and cultural values of our diverse community, we also are ecstatic to resume hosting an annual Mother’s Day celebration," Executive Director Nicole Herden said. "We hope everyone keeps the Fine Arts Center in mind when choosing where to honor their mother(s) and we promise to offer a loving, memorable environment to commemorate this awesome day. Courtesy: Fine Arts Center There will be a delicious assortment of brunch items, including breakfast pastries, salads, charcuterie, an omelet bar, various breakfast and lunch dishes, a prime rib carving station, and desserts. The cost of admission includes access to the museum and discounted tickets to FAC's mainstage theatre show, "Rent." Brunch seatings will be at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Tickets for adults are $90 (and include 2 mimosas). Children 10 and under are $20. FAC members can purchase brunch and a ticket to "Rent" for $120. Non-members can buy the brunch and "Rent" ticket for $135. Reservations in advance are required. Tickets can be purchased on the day of the event if there is space available.
