PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Pawtucket police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital Friday morning. Police tell 12 News the man suffered a gunshot wound to the face at a home on Don Court, but the injury is not considered life-threatening. The victim was conscious and alert when he was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, according to police. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear at this time. Police were seen at the hospital Friday afternoon, which was confirmed to be related to the shooting investigation. 12 News has a crew at the scene gathering information. Check back for updates.
