FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — Fans will soon be able to buy tickets for Tom Brady's Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The team said a limited number of tickets will go on sale to the general public at noon on Thursday, May 2. Brady will be the 35th person to be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame, and for the first time, the ceremony will be held on the field in order to accommodate as many fans as possible. Ceremonies are traditionally held outside the hall. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, June 12, from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. BACKGROUND: Brady to be inducted into Patriots Hall of Fame next summer The Patriots said they chose to honor Brady on the twelfth day of the sixth month of the year as a tribute to his jersey number (12) and the six Super Bowls he won in New England. Brady is also the first player who didn't have to wait four years before being inducted since the current guidelines were put in place in 2007. The quarterback spent 20 years in New England and his final three seasons in Tampa Bay, winning seven Super Bowls in total.
