PONCHATOULA, La. (WGNO) — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office has raised the award amount for information in a case regarding the 2021 homicide of a Ponchatoula man. According to deputies, around 3 a.m. on July 4, 2021, a drive-by shooting happened near the home of Harry Huges. Neighbors in the area told deputies that they believed the noise was fireworks. Sheriff Daniel Edwards says they are now offering $5,000 to anyone who can help with the investigation.
