PONCHATOULA, La. (WGNO) — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office has raised the award amount for information in a case regarding the 2021 homicide of a Ponchatoula man. According to deputies, around 3 a.m. on July 4, 2021, a drive-by shooting happened near the home of Harry Huges. Neighbors in the area told deputies that they believed the noise was fireworks. New Orleans police search for woman missing from Central City home Deputies said family members went to Hughes' home and reportedly found him dead, lying in his bed. Sheriff Daniel Edwards says they are now offering $5,000 to anyone who can help with the investigation.
