It has felt like summer all weekend long across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. We've had warm temperatures, windy conditions, and rounds of showers and a few thunderstorms. In fact, Fort Wayne continues to edge closer to the all-time April precipitation record. Fort Wayne’s rainiest April record within reach The good news is we'll be dry the rest of this evening into tonight, so you will not have to worry about rain impacting your plans to end the weekend. It will be a mild night across the area, with temperatures dipping down only into the low-to-mid 60s under mostly cloudy skies. We'll see some breaks in the clouds this evening into tonight.We're mostly cloudy and mild then before daybreak Monday. On Monday, we'll track a cold front through the area. We'll start the day off dry with some peeks of morning sunshine, but then scattered showers and thunderstorms develop during the afternoon and continue into the evening. Severe weather is not anticipated though at this time, but any of these storms could have gusty winds, hail, lightning, and heavy rain. It will be a windy day once again, with highs only in the mid-70s before the cold front arrives.
