INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) - From the Highlight Zone, to the highest level of football. Wayne High School grad Craig Young is getting a Hoosier homecoming after signing with the Colts as an undrafted free agent. Kansas football announced Young's signing on Saturday shortly after the NFL Draft. Young started his college football career at Ohio State. The linebacker only saw action in 24 games over three seasons with the Buckeyes. Young transferred to Kansas for his senior year in 2022 and an extra season of eligibility in 2023. In two seasons with the Jayhawks, Young piled up 121 tackles, including 10.5 for loss, six sacks and two interceptions.
