ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — One person is dead and another in critical condition after a shooting in Hamlin. According to investigators, police were called to a home along Monroe-Orleans County Line Road shortly before 2:30 p.m. They found a female dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Deputies on scene said an injured male was hospitalized in critical condition. They said the isolated incident happened inside the house, and there was no threat to the public. Police would not release the ages of the people involved until their families could be notified. Monroe-Orleans County Line Road is closed between Morton Road and Sand Road until further notice.
