UPDATE 7:20 P.M.The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office said Smith was last seen wearing a black shirt or no shirt and blue jeans. The last possible citing of him was in the area of St. Mary Community in a wooded area near Mannie Gunn Rd. The residents are urged to lock doors and if you see something say something by calling 911 or (850) 875-8811.UPDATE 5:55 P.M.The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office said the victim in this case died because of a stabbing to the neck. K9s from Liberty and Leon County are out tracking the suspect. Leon County is also searching from the air. Gadsden County also has a S.W.A.T. team involved. Smith has changed the clothes he was wearing when the search began. Those clothes were found and are now being used for tracking. UPDATE 5:40 P.M.The Gadsden County Sheriff's Office confirmed the victim involved in this case was stabbed. The search for the suspect continues. UPDATE 5:20 P.M. He is still on the loose and considered armed and dangerous. Read the news release below from GSCO for more details.GCSO NEWS RELEASE:On 4/24/2024 the Gadsden County Sheriffs Office patrol responded to 701 Liberty Rd. Quincy in the Sawdust Community in reference to a death investigation .  We are actively on the look out for a black male suspect Reginald Smith (pictured below) who is wanted in relation to the ongoing death investigation. Smith is presumed armed and dangerous  Smith was last seen on foot in the area of Carolina Rd. and Providence Rd. and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with orange design, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
