BOONE COUNTY, Ind. – A crash involving multiple vehicles slowed traffic on I-65 in Boone County. According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened on I-65 southbound near mile marker 130 between CR 650 S (Old State Road 334) and I-865. The sheriff's office indicated multiple vehicles were involved in the incident, bringing traffic to a standstill. The Indiana Department of Transportation said a vehicle caught fire. Two right lanes are blocked and the left lane is closed. INDOT indicated the issue could last for several hours.
