The day's widespread rain is headed out, but some scattered rain is still possible into late night. Overall rainfall totals for today are likely to be 0.75" and less, in most locations. Our overcast sky becomes partly cloudy tonight and temps fall to the upper 30s by daybreak. Temps stay high enough to prevent frost from becoming a big worry. It's a different story tomorrow. Wednesday morning temps fall as low as the mid-upper 30s. A chill remains in the air for Wednesday with another cold front dropping in. As a result, high temps will only reach 50°, even lower than today's highs in the mid-50s. While the day starts off mostly cloudy, we'll have fewer clouds by day's end. Wednesday's high temps are well below average. Overnight into Thursday, we'll have just a few scattered clouds around and the winds will be light. These two factors will allow our temperatures to keep falling until reaching slightly below the freezing mark. Thursday morning's temps fall to the freezing mark and just below, in some places. A Freeze Watch is in effect for early Thursday morning. Cover up those sensitive plants with a light cloth or bring them inside, if you can. Freezing conditions are likely Thursday morning. While Thursday morning has a frozen start, a warm-up takes shape starting in the afternoon. High temps return to the 60° mark and we'll have lots of sunshine. High temps keep climbing over the weekend. Friday's highs are in the upper 60s, Saturday's highs are in the mid-70s, and Sunday's highs will be near 80°. In this Friday-Sunday window, periods of on-and-off rain and t-storms are possible. Monday, also, has a chance for some scattered rain and storms. Tonight: Rain becomes more and more scattered.
