HOLTON (KSNT) - Law enforcement says it's pursuing new leads in its efforts to get to the bottom of a cold case involving Russian immigrants in northeast Kansas. Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says in a press release that multiple law enforcement agencies participated in a search warrant on a Holton home in the 400 block of E. Sixth Street on Tuesday, April 23. This is in connection to a missing person investigation and a death case. Photo of Yulia Shevtensko Larrison. (Photo Courtesy/KBI) Morse says a Russian immigrant named Yulia Shevtensko Larrison went missing in 2001 while Elena Kristova Larrison, another Russian immigrant, was killed in a reported accident in Holton in 2006. These incidents were investigated by the Holton Police Department. The investigations into these cases were reopened in 2019 with no arrests made yet. Larrison went missing at the age of 27 and would be 51-years-old in 2024, according to the KBI. She is described as being around 5'07 in height and weighing around 145 pounds.
