NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A jury trial concluded in a mistrial for Keith Bryant on April 19 for the death of a William & Mary football player in March 2019. Nathan Evans was found shot on a sidewalk on the 800 block of West 43rd Street on March 21, 2019, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Nathan Evans Evans was a sophomore at William & Mary. Kri’Shawn D. Beamon was also charged in connection to the incident and faces second-degree murder, robbery and two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection to Evans’ death.
