RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) --Mostly cloudy skies will continue with the risk of a few passing showers. A few showers and storms will be around this evening, but these will be spotty. Any lingering showers end overnight and our skies quickly clear. Overnight lows will drop to near 60. Tomorrow will be beautiful with plenty of sunshine and warm high temperatures near the middle 80s. Partly sunny skies will be around to start the day on Friday however more clouds will move by the afternoon. This is also when we will see some scattered showers and storms which will continue into the evening hours. It will be mild day with highs near the middle 70s. Saturday is looking like a wonderful day especially early if you are participating in the Monument Avenue 10K which beings at 8:30. We will see mostly sunny skies for the race with temperatures ranging from the upper 50s at the start to the middle 60s by the finish of the race. For the remainder of Saturday, we should see partly sunny skies and it will be a bit cooler, but comfortable, with highs in the lower 70s. The end of the weekend looks to feature mostly cloudy skies as a weather system passes by to our south. This brings us the risk of seeing a few showers in the southern part of the state later Sunday afternoon and evening. High temperatures Sunday will be back in the middle to upper 60s. Looking ahead to next week we should see partly sunny skies and high temperatures near seasonable.
