BRISTOL, R.I. (WPRI) — A Bristol woman faced a judge Wednesday on charges related to the death of her 2-month-old baby.

The judge set bail at $10,000 surety, which was posted, and ordered Thivierge not to have contact with any minors.

First responders were called to Thivierge's Bayview Avenue apartment early Friday morning for a report of an unresponsive infant. The call was made by the child's father, police later learned.
The infant was found lying on the bedroom floor and was eventually pronounced dead, according to police.
Police are now waiting for the autopsy to come back to see if any additional charges should be filed.
