Traffic has returned to normal near South Parker Road and East Hampden Avenue as of 7:30 a.m., according to the Aurora Police Department. Officers closed northbound Parker Road at Hampden Avenue and westbound Hampden Avenue at Parker Road at 5 a.m. as police investigated the crash.
A woman was seriously injured after rolling her car around 2:15 a.m. near South Parker Road and East Hampden Avenue.
The female driver was the only occupant of the Chrysler PT Cruiser, and was transported to the local hospital for her injuries after being ejected from her car. Officers attribute speed as a “likely contributing factor.”
