Sunshine ahead of a pair of Pacific storms
Apr 03, 2024
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Multiple days of quiet weather leading up to a pair of storms that will likely sandwich the total solar eclipse on Monday afternoon.
FIRST WARNING: Solar Eclipse weather forecast for April 8
Dry northwest winds will keep our weather pleasant today with sunshine, low humidity and comfortable temperatures areawide (upper 70s/low 80s).
Similar weather can be expected Thursday and Friday, the only difference being a slight bump in temperatures (mid-80s).
Gorgeous weather mid- to late week
A pair of Pacific storms look to roll our way this weekend into early next week. The first drags a cold front through our area late Saturday into Sunday bringing a few scattered showers and storms.
Storm #1 drags a cold front through our area late Saturday into Sunday
Storm #2 likely to bring showers and storms to our area late Monday into Tuesday and Wednesday
Drier air behind this front could delay the return of thicker clouds and rain just long enough to bring some visibility of the total solar eclipse on Monday afternoon. Stay with KXAN for updates.
