CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Chesterfield County launched a new "Experience Chesterfield" website this week. According to representatives, the site will serve as an information platform to connect residents and visitors to the great things the county has to offer. According to a County spokesperson, the new website features opportunities for outdoor sports and recreation, trails and waterfront access, historic sites, arts, culture, entertainment, dining, shopping, farmers markets, live music and much more. "This engaging new platform makes it easy for anyone to learn about fun, interesting and entertaining things to see and do right in our backyard," said J.C. Poma, executive director of Sports, Visitation and Entertainment. In addition, the website will also offer information on ways to get to Chesterfield, as well as how visitors can access hotels. "Whether it’s the fun, the food or the great outdoors, people continue to find different ways to experience Chesterfield," said James M. "Jim" Holland, chair of the Board of Supervisors. "You’re never far from something special, and the Experience Chesterfield website helps you choose your own adventure and get started."
