SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) - One person was taken to the hospital Thursday morning following a pedestrian accident in South Hadley. Crash shut down Willimansett Bridge in Chicopee According to South Hadley Police Chief Jennifer Gundersen, an adult pedestrian was crossing the street at the intersection of Bardwell and Gaylord Streets when they were hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian received minor injuries in the incident but was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The driver of the vehicle involved called police about the incident and is cooperating. South Hadley police are investigating the crash.
