RI Plastic Bottle Waste Commission seeking public input

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The Plastic Bottle Waste Commission is meeting on Monday to hear public testimony.
The commission is working on a study that is looking at how plastic bottles, alcoholic beverage containers and single-use plastic packaging is recycled in Rhode Island.
The study's goal is to try and find better ways to address and recycle these types of plastics.

Both in-person and written testimony is being accepted. Anyone who wants to testify in-person should head to room 313 of the R.I. State House at 3 p.m. on April 1.
Written testimony will be given out to the committee's members. Anyone who wants to submit written testimony can email it to Michael Hogan at mhogan@rilegislature.gov and Stephanie Gemski at sgemski@rilegislature.gov.
Written testimony should include your name and organization. It's best to send the testimony in PDF format.
