The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said a man has died after being struck by a vehicle on I-4 in Polk City.The crash happened near exit 44 on I-4 around 6:30 a.m. June 9.FHP said a 47-year-old Apopka man had parked his truck, whic h was towing a trailer, on the outside shoulder of the interstate. A second vehicle, driven by a 50-year-old Orlando man, struck the trailer and then collided with the Apopka man standing outside his vehicle.He was taken to the hospital and later died from injuries suffered in the crash, FHP said.All westbound lanes of I-4 were closed for several hours but have reopened. ...read more read less
