A man was found face down and unresponsive after apparently drowning Friday night just before 8 p.m. below the Torrey Pines Glider Port at Black’s Beach in La Jolla, according to the San Diego Police Department. The reporting party said they found the male unresponsive and began CPR. The m an was transported to Scripps La Jolla, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
