As a kupuna who just completed successful surgery, I am grateful for the nurses, doctors, nurses aides and all medical professionals who provided my care. Since the current federal administration has determined that nursing is not a professional degree, thus limiting students’ ability to acquire n ecessary loans, I am thankful that our governor, who is also an emergency room physician, understands the need for a strong health care system and the continued need for extensive education for medical professionals. ...read more read less
