(KRON) — Officers seized nearly a pound of fentanyl packaged for sale and stacks of cash during an arrest in Santa Rosa Friday, according to the Santa Rosa Police Department. Officers pulled over 24-year-old Santa Rosa resident Andrew McCormick at the intersection of Mendocino Avenue and Denton S treet at 8:49 p.m. Officers learned that McCormick was on felony probation for a case in Contra Costa County and searched his car. “A search of McCormick pursuant to his probation terms yielded 19 grams of fentanyl packaged for sale,” SRPD said. “Additional evidence related to narcotics sales was also found in the vehicle.” Evidence seized during an arrest in Santa Rosa on Dec. 5, 2025.
