COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, Free Fridays are back at Riverbanks Zoo.
Every Friday in January and February residents of Richland and Lexington County can receive free daytime admission.
You just need a proof of residency such as a driver’s license or property tax statement.
You still have time to go wild at Riverbanks Zoo’s Wild Lights this week.
It’s open tonight, Wednesday, Jan. 8, through Saturday, Jan. 11, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
It features more than 60 larger-than-life handcrafted new lantern displays and fun activities for the whole family.
Comic book fans can visit the state fairgrounds this weekend for the Central Carolina Comic Con.
There will be panels, vendors, and special guests like Gates McFadden from the Star Trek franchise and Michael Jai White from Spawn.
It takes place on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, January 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
