Brian Mast (R-Fla.) has discouraged the continual flow of U.S. funds to the Eastern European nation and holds tight to homeland rule. The veteran will appear on Sunday Morning Futures and likely outline his committee’s direction for the new year. Outgoing Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.) is set to appear on ABC’s “This Week” and may address his concerns with Georgia’s democratic institutions. He advocated for the U.S. to impose sanctions on former prime minister Bidzina Ivanishvili and condemned the leader alongside Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
