CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) -- A man is left injured following a shooting Friday afternoon in Chesapeake. At approximately 5:55 p.m., Chesapeake Police responded to the 1000 block of Jackson Avenue in reference to an injured person. Upon arrival, officers located a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
