HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - The Foundation for TJO Animals is preparing to host its inaugural 'Designer Purrrse Bingo', a holiday-themed fundraiser aimed at supporting the animals cared for at the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center. Final Day of Toys for Tots at 22News This highly anticipated event, which sold out quickly, will be held at Gary Rome Hyundai in Holyoke on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Participants will engage in ten rounds of competitive bingo for a chance to win designer handbags donated by sponsors throughout the Pioneer Valley. The evening will also feature raffles, door prizes, a cash bar with festive cocktails, and snacks, and an opportunity to "adopt" gently used designer bags from the "Adopt & Rescue" table. Additionally, DJ Leah Rantz from 99.3 will serve as the event's bingo caller. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center, which provides shelter and care for homeless animals in Springfield, Holyoke, and Chicopee. The Foundation for TJO Animals, established in 2007, focuses on raising funds to support veterinary care and other critical needs for animals in the shelter.
