SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - The southbound lane of Ogeechee Road was currently closed following a fatal crash, the Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) reports. CCPD shared in a Facebook post on Friday evening at approximately 8 p.m. that the road near Heathcote Circle was closed following a fatal, single car accident. The Georgia State Patrol (GSP) is currently investigating the scene. This is a developing story and WSAV will provide updates as soon as they are available.
