INDIANAPOLIS IMPD is investigating after one person was killed and another was critically injured in a shooting at an apartment complex on the city's west side Friday night. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 800 block of Cloverleaf Terrace just before 9 p.m. on reports of a person shot. This is located in the Cloverleaf Apartments. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that was struck by gunfire and an adult male inside suffering from a gunshot injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers located another adult male victim at the scene who was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition. IMPD says before the shooting, a disturbance occurred. At least one firearm was recovered from the scene. No further details have been released. There is no threat to the community but residents are asked to stay inside and avoid the area while officers investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact IMPD Det.
