Dec 13, 2024
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Kansas transportation officials announced on Friday that a highway flyover bridge in Topeka will be closed early next week.
Kate Craft with the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) said in a press release on Dec. 13 that workers will close the Highway 75 flyover bridge in west Topeka on Monday, Dec. 16 as part of an ongoing repair project. The bridge will be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. while concrete overlay work takes place.
Drivers will be unable to use the Highway 75 flyover bridge to eastbound I-70/Gage Boulevard while the work is underway. KDOT's detour route will guide traffic to westbound I-70, Fairlawn Road and back to eastbound I-70.
