Guilford County to join Greensboro, High Point in observing National Homeless Persons' Memorial Day

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — Guilford County will observe National Homeless Persons' Memorial Day this year, according to a press release.
Guilford County will join the City of Greensboro, the City of High Point and other community partners to honor those who died while experiencing homelessness in the past year.
National Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day, designated by the National Coalition for the Homeless and the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, falls on Saturday, Dec. 21.
On Dec. 17 at 6 p.m., the City of High Point and the Guilford County Continuum of Care will host a memorial service at St. Mary's Episcopal Church at 108 West Farris Avenue in High Point.
On Dec. 18 at 5:15 p.m., The Guilford County CoC will join the City of Greensboro for a memorial walk. The walk will begin at Greensboro Urban Ministry at 305 West Gate City Boulevard and will end at Grace Community Church at 643 West Gate City Boulevard for a memorial service and a meal.
