(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested a woman after she escaped from officers, stole a vehicle, and then fought them. On Friday, Dec. 13, officers responded to a family disturbance at the 5100 Airport Road near Sagebrush Park. According to CSPD, the victim's daughter, Ariana Fresquez, was staying in her home and had snuck in with her boyfriend, who was not allowed in. When the victim discovered this, a disturbance occurred and eventually, the two suspects left. The boyfriend had an outstanding warrant, and as officers looked through the area for them, they located Fresquez, who then escaped from the officers. CSPD said Fresquez stole a vehicle, crashed it, and got it high-centered. She then fought with officers who responded to the crash and was arrested. The other suspect is still outstanding.
