A Denver man was arrested this month after arranging to meet with Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies posing as children selling sex on local websites, police say. He was arrested Dec. 5 when he traveled to meet with a fictional minor. McCrea is being held at the Larimer County Jail on a $50,000 cash-surety bond and faces four felony charges, including attempted sexual assault on a child and three child-prostitution crimes. “Sexual exploitation of anyone is never acceptable, and crimes against children are particularly atrocious,” Larimer County Sheriff John Feyen said in a news release. “LCSO will always stand up for the most vulnerable and fight to impact these crimes.” Sign up to get crime news sent straight to your inbox each day.
