Freezing drizzle possible this afternoon
Dec 13, 2024
What We’re Tracking
Warmer Friday
Late rain Friday into Saturday
Warming up by Sunday
It’s another cold morning with temperatures dropping into the upper teens and lower 20s. Winds will eventually come from the southeast around 10 mph, and clouds continue to build in this morning.
There’s a small chance of freezing drizzle Friday afternoon, but it’s more likely the further north you go, especially around highway 36. Luckily, temperatures will warm up above freezing pretty quickly, so the freezing drizzle should only last for an hour or two. It will be mostly clear during the day, but clouds will gradually increase as we head into Friday afternoon, bringing a chance of rain showers by evening.
Showers will start to dry out Saturday morning. Temperatures will begin to warm into the upper 40s by Saturday afternoon. Even warmer weather is expected for Sunday and Monday as temperatures jump into the mid to upper 50s. Another chance of rain returning for Monday.
