Walt’s short speech could offer clues to the backstory for the new show: “To all who come to this happy place — welcome,” Walt said on July 17, 1955. “Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past and here you may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.” Dreams, hopes, inspiration, American history and futuristic possibilities have all served as recurring themes at Disneyland throughout the years and could reappear in “World of Color Happiness.” Scene from World of Color – ONE, the new nighttime water show at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, CA, on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
