The cold front from Wednesday's soaking rain is long gone and behind it, of course, is the cold air and we're feeling it today! The dry cold air setting in for the weekend does create some nice weather, however, so we'll be able to enjoy. It's a slow go through the morning to get these temperatures out of the 20s and 30s. The bright sunshine will help as it's pretty strong for the first half of the day. Late day clouds roll in to hopefully add some color to the sunset after high temperatures struggle to hit 50°. The area of high pressure settling in to our north keeps us dry through the weekend and helps provide a northeast breeze. It should keep our temperatures in the 40s to near 50° on Saturday (after starting in the 30s) and throw us some passing clouds in the afternoon. By Sunday, temperatures rebound nicely into the mid 50s! On Sunday we'll look off on the western horizon to a weak frontal system developing. This will increase cloud coverage Sunday afternoon and evening, and provide us with a brief passing shower by the late night hours. If anything, it could open the door for a few more chances of rainfall early next week, maybe in the Monday & Tuesday timeframe. Temperatures rebound nicely into the low 60s early next week with a better chance of rainfall later next week. -Steve
