Two men arrested in separate Marrero child porn cases

MARRERO, La. (WGNO) — Two Marrero men were arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 11, following separate child pornography investigations.
According to the Louisiana Office of the Attorney General, the arrests were carried out with the help of Attorney General Liz Murrill's Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations and the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office.
Officials say the investigations originated from tips to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. As a result, 30-year-old Nicholas Ryan Bruce, of Virginia Lee Drive, and 26-year-old Elijah Darrell Taylor, of Victoria Drive, were arrested.

Both Bruce and Taylor were booked into the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center. Bruce is charged with 12 counts of distribution of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13, and Taylor is charged with 11 counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
Bond information was not released, and the investigations are ongoing.
