PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Burrillville man was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court to federal prison for child pornography and supervised release violation charges, according to the office of U.S. Attorney Zachary A. Cunha. Jaymeson Delgizzi, 31, will serve ten years in federal prison on these most recent charges, according to a statement. Delgizzi was convicted in November of 2013 in Hickman County, TN for aggravated sexual assault on a minor, and was sentenced to 11 years in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender. He was paroled in January of 2023, and cut off his electronic monitoring bracelet and traveled to Rhode Island. Delgizzi failed to register as a sex offender in Rhode Island, and was charged by the U.S. Attorney. He was then convicted of violating the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA) and was sentenced to five years of federal supervised release. Delgizzi was on federal pretrial release in November of 2023 when the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children notified the Rhode Island State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that a Google account belonging to Delgizzi was used to upload child pornography images.  A search warrant was executed at his residence on January 17, 2024 during which child pornography videos and images were found. Delgizzi pleaded guilty on September 17, 2024 to two counts of child pornography possession. Categories: News, Providence, Rhode Island
