PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Two men were injured on Friday morning after an altercation in Providence. According to Providence police, a 28-year-old male and a 23-year-old male were allegedly involved in a fight near Battey and Vernon around 11 a.m. Police said both men fled the scene, and later sought medical attention at Rhode Island Hospital. The 28-year-old sustained a stab wound to the leg, while the 23-year-old suffered a non-life-threatening graze to the shoulder. Providence police are investigating. Categories: News
