2 people dead after headon collision in Kosciusko County

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Thanksgiving crash that left two people dead and another person in critical condition.
Just before 9:00 p.m. Thursday, two vehicles collided head-on for "reasons yet to be determined" on Old Road 30 west of Brallier Road, which is north of Pierceton.
The drivers of both vehicles, identified as 24-year-old Manuel Apolinar Tlahuetl and 54-year-old Heather M. Rice, were both declared dead at the scene, according to the Kosciusko County Coroner's Office.
A passenger in Rice's vehicle, identified as 54-year-old Merle Ray Miller, suffered "internal" injuries and is in critical condition.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office FACT Team is actively investigating the crash.
