CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) - More than 50 percent of Americans may have enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner outside their home. Thanksgiving known as one of the most dangerous holidays on the road That's according to the National Restaurant Association. Some want to avoid cooking or the stress that comes along with it. Restaurants like the Munich Haus in Chicopee were open for dinner, catering to those who want to enjoy a meal away from home.  "We offer a regular menu and a Thanksgiving menu. People are very welcoming when they come in it's something to get out of the house," said Duwayne Barker of the Munich Haus. According to the National Restaurant Association, your chances of ordering out during the holidays may be influenced by your age. Gen-z and millennials are less likely to stick to a traditional dinner at home.
