The Speaker-Elect for the South Dakota House of Representatives has assigned members to the committees they will be on for the upcoming legislative session (Nov. 25, 2024). Representative Jon Hansen of Dell Rapids also released the 2025-26 interim committee assignments. District 24 Representative Will Mortenson of Fort Pierre will serve on the Judiciary and Taxation committees during session and will co-chair the interim State-Tribal Relations Committee. District 24 Representative Mike Weisgram will be on the Commerce and Energy, Taxation and Retirement Laws committees.
