FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man has been pronounced dead after drowning at a home in Fresno on Thursday afternoon, the Fresno Police Department said.
Officers received a call at a home in the 300 block of W. Audubon Drive for a man who was unresponsive at a pool just after 6 p.m.
Upon arrival, police say they were able to extract the man out of the pool, which was filled with 40-degree water. Life-saving measures were attempted, and the man was transported to the hospital for treatment, but he ended up succumbing to his injuries.
