MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a man used a fight between two women in a gas station as a distraction while he removed cash from behind the counter. It happened Thanksgiving Day at the Marathon station at 2785 Park Ave. Police say two females began fighting inside the store. The clerk intervened and removed them from the store. But while the clerk was dealing with the women, police say the male suspect snuck behind the counter into a restricted area and stole a deposit bag with roughly $7,000 inside.
